The EPA Lead 4-hour Refresher Training Course was developed by the EPA, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of HUD (Housing and Urban Development), to train renovation, repair and paint contractors on how to properly work on sites with lead-based paint and adhere to EPA’S RRP, and HUD’s Lead Safe Housing Rule. Training materials include but are not limited to training manuals, slides, notes, and hand-outs. The course should be taken before your initial certification expires in order to sustain the initial RRP Certification. The EPA RRP rule requires that each certification be refreshed every five years. If in the case that your EPA initial certification has expired, you are required to retake the Initial 8-hour RRP course.
ABLE Safety Consulting provides the 4-hour refresher course at a number of locations throughout the state of Florida.
